Potential Data Breach in Our Hotel Reservation System
Vitec, the provider of the Hotellinx reservation system used by Hotel Linnasmäki, has reported a suspected data breach that may have resulted in the exposure of our hotel guests’ reservation information to unauthorized parties.
The potentially compromised information includes guests’ names, contact details, and reservation dates. The data breach may particularly affect reservations with an arrival date of October 6, 2026, or later. No payment information has been compromised.
We ask our guests to exercise particular caution. If you receive messages by email, WhatsApp, or other means in the name of Hotel Linnasmäki requesting confirmation of payments or disclosure of personal information, do not respond to the messages or open any links they contain.
We apologize for this incident and any concern it may cause. We will provide further updates as the investigation by our system provider, Vitec Hotellinx, progresses.
