Whether you have visual or hearing impairments, allergies, or use a wheelchair, we have ensured that you feel at home. If you need a hearing loop for a meeting or perhaps a special diet, we will accommodate your needs throughout your stay at the hotel.

Arrival

Drop-off traffic can access the main entrance by car. Accessible parking spaces for those arriving by car are located approximately 110 meters from the main entrance. The parking spaces are marked with a wheelchair symbol. The access routes to the parking area are level, paved, and illuminated. Street maintenance is year-round and the entrance is well-lit. The outdoor door threshold is 2 cm and the door width is at least 85 cm. The vestibule is spacious with ample room to turn around. Handrails are provided in both stairways and outdoor pathways for those with limited mobility or visual impairments. Handrails and lighting operate automatically.

Rooms

Linnasmäki has two fully accessible rooms suitable for guests with mobility impairments and their assistants (rooms 150 and 151). The free width of the doorway is 89 cm, and there are no thresholds. Pathways are 90 cm wide with a 150 cm turning space on both sides. Furniture can be moved if necessary. Coat hooks are at a height of 132 cm. The free width of the bathroom is 85 cm. The rooms have low handles on doors, high toilet seats, and grab bars. A shower chair is provided upon request. A flashing doorbell and vibrating alarm for the hearing impaired are available at the reception. At least 5% of other hotel rooms are accessible.

Public Areas and Conference Facilities

All our meeting rooms and the large auditorium are wheelchair accessible. The restaurant area is barrier-free and staff will assist at the food service line if needed. The furniture is movable. The café counter height is 93 cm and the serving table is 90 cm. Our staff will assist as needed. The terrace is also wheelchair accessible.

There are seven accessible restrooms in the public areas. The signs are clearly distinguishable in color, and symbols are used in some areas. The meeting rooms do not have wall-to-wall carpeting. There is ample space to turn around in a wheelchair in the common areas. Some areas are equipped with induction loops.

Sauna Facilities

The larger of our sauna facilities is accessible and has an accessible shower and toilet. The sauna area must be reserved separately and/or mentioned when making a reservation if using a wheelchair. The swimming pool does not have a ramp, only stairs.
