Tarinointa hetkistä (Stories of Moments
Sanni Lindqvist
On display at Linnasmäki Gallery January 9 – February 11, 2026, from 8 AM to 8 PM
I am Sanni Lindqvist, an artist from Rovaniemi, a mother, a student, and a lover of life. My art draws inspiration from people, seasons, small details of life, nature, stories, and dreams. I believe art is a language for communication and a way to search and discover. I hope my art evokes emotions in the viewer, but above all, dreams and imagination.
This exhibition features moments where the nature of Lapland and my life have intersected. These are small moments where nature and life have presented something greater. Additionally, the exhibition includes works that represent the processing of different stages of my life. Before settling in Lapland, I was a curious traveler with a burning desire to experience the world, to see and hear. I now wish to explore this exciting phase of life through painting.
My works are created upstairs. Painting is my personal time alongside my studies and being a mother. It is my own passion, and also time spent with family in the atmospheric upstairs room. Even my daughter, who just turned one, wants to paint her part in my works. I enjoy using acrylic paints and grounding charcoal.
