Whether you are visually or hearing impaired, have allergies, or use a wheelchair, we ensure you feel comfortable. Should you require a hearing loop for a meeting or a special diet, we will accommodate your needs throughout your stay. Your assistant can stay in the same room free of charge.
Arrival
Drop-off vehicles can access the main entrance. Accessible parking spaces for those arriving by car are located approximately 110 meters from the main entrance. These parking spaces are marked with a wheelchair symbol. The pathways to the parking area are level, paved, lit, and equipped with handrails. The paths are maintained year-round. The entrance is well-lit. The outer door has a 2 cm threshold, and its width is at least 85 cm. The vestibule is spacious, allowing for easy turning. For guests with reduced mobility or visual impairments, handrails are provided in stairwells and on outdoor pathways. Handrails and lighting operate automatically.
Rooms
Linnasmäki offers two fully accessible rooms suitable for guests with mobility impairments and their assistants (rooms 150 and 151). The clear width of the doorways is 89 cm, and there are no thresholds. Pathways are 90 cm wide, with a turning space of 150 cm on both sides. Furniture can be rearranged if needed. Wardrobe hooks are at a height of 132 cm. The clear width of the bathroom is 85 cm. Rooms are equipped with low door handles, high toilet seats, and grab bars. A shower chair is provided upon request. A flashing doorbell and a vibrating alarm are available at the reception for guests with hearing impairments. Additionally, at least 5% of other hotel rooms are accessible.
Public Areas and Conference Facilities
All our conference rooms and auditoriums are wheelchair accessible. The restaurant area is accessible, and staff will assist at the buffet line if needed. Furniture is movable to allow for wheelchair access. The café counter height is 93 cm, and the buffet table is 90 cm. Our staff will assist if necessary. The terrace is also wheelchair accessible.
There are seven accessible restrooms in the public areas. Signage is clearly distinguishable by color, and some areas use symbols. Conference rooms do not have wall-to-wall carpeting. Public areas offer ample space for wheelchair turning. Our main building has seven accessible restrooms. Some areas are equipped with induction loops.
Sauna Facilities
The larger of our sauna facilities is accessible and includes an accessible shower and toilet. The sauna facilities must be booked separately, and/or it must be mentioned during booking if a wheelchair is used. The swimming pool does not have a ramp, only stairs.
