What are the check-in and checkout times?

In the summer (1 June – 31 August) check-in time at both the hostel and hotel is 2:00 PM – 9:30 PM. At other times of the year we ask that you check in during reception opening hours, i.e. by 3:30 PM. After you have checked in you can enter and leave your room at any time of the day.
Depending on our reservation situation, early check-in may also be possible. Check-in outside of opening hours, i.e. late check-in, is also available. Please notify us of your late check-in request when you make your reservation.
Please check out of the hostel by 10:00 AM and from the hotel by noon. Later checkout is also possible depending on our reservation situation. Please ask reception about late checkout.

Check-in is also available outside of opening hours. Please notify us of your late check-in request when you make your reservation. More information about late arrivals can be found here.

Where can cars be parked?

Linnasmäki has plenty of free parking. The car park is illuminated and monitored by CCTV, but guests are still fully responsible for their cars. There are also a few electric sockets for heating cars in the winter.

How does the hostel differ from the hotel?

At the hostel you pay only for the services you need. The prices at the Linnasmäki hostel included sheets and towels. All our hostel rooms have their own bathrooms with a WC, and some have televisions. Our plentiful buffet breakfast is not included in the price of accommodation, but can be purchased separately from our menu at reception for 8 € per adult and 4 € per child (4-12 years old).

Each floor also has a fully equipped kitchen and common area with a TV.

What should I do if I am going to depart early?

We ask you to inform reception about early departures in advance, so we can arrange for the return of your key.

Can luggage be stored?

There is room for storing luggage. Reception will be happy to help you.

Can minor children stay at Linnasmäki?

Minor children are also welcome, but must have the consent of a guardian. Consent can be given verbally or in writing. A form is not required.

What should I do if I lose my key?

Please inform reception immediately. If you lose your key outside of opening hours, please call the THV Security Services on-call number at +2 284 6999 for a new key. There is a charge for the new key.

Can I pay by invoice?

For invoicing, please let us know when you make your reservation. For businesses, we require a Finnish business ID (Y-tunnus). A surcharge of 5% per invoice will be applied. We generally do not invoice individuals or foreign companies.

How can I cancel my reservation?

The easiest way to cancel your stay is by using the same method you used to make the reservation. In situations that are unclear, we ask that you contact reception so we can give you instructions about cancellations. There is generally no charge for cancellations made by 6:00 PM on the day before your scheduled arrival, unless otherwise agreed (group reservations).
