Check-in for both the hotel and hostel is from 3:00 PM onwards. Check-out for the hostel is by 10:00 AM, and for the hotel by 12:00 PM. A later check-out may be possible for an additional fee, depending on our availability. Please inquire about the current situation at our reception if needed.

Can I Check in when the Reception is Closed?
Yes! Check-in is also possible outside of reception opening hours. However, please remember to inform our reception about this, preferably already during the booking process.
The green arrow on the attached map indicates the location of the entrance. To the right of the red exterior door is a black device where you enter the five-digit code received from our reception, allowing you to enter through the exterior door. On the opposite wall is a gray key cabinet. You have half a minute to retrieve the envelope with your name from the cabinet. If for some reason you don’t immediately find the key cabinet and it locks again, please start over and re-enter the code into the black device next to the exterior door.
Please keep your room key with you. It allows you to access your accommodation building’s exterior door 24/7. Please also remember to fill out the accommodation card you find in the envelope and return it to our reception at the latest when you check out. Kindly also take care of the payment at our reception the following morning.

Where Can I Park My Car?
Linnasmäki offers ample free parking, as well as a few paid electric vehicle charging points (€5/day for hybrid cars and €12/day for fully electric cars). The parking area is lit and under camera surveillance, but the car remains the customer’s responsibility. During winter, we have a few power outlets available for car heating, about which you can inquire at the reception.

What should I Do if I Have an Early Departure?
We kindly ask you to inform our reception in advance about an early departure so we can provide instructions for key return.
Can I Leave Luggage for Storage?
Certainly, storage space is available for your luggage. Our reception will be happy to assist you with this.
Can I Stay with a Pet in your Rooms?
Unfortunately, we do not have pet-friendly rooms in our hostel or hotel. Guide dogs are permitted.
Are Minors Allowed to Stay at Linnasmäki?
Minors are also welcome to stay with us, but we require informal verbal/written consent from a guardian in advance.
What should I Do if I Lose My Room Key?
You must report this to our reception immediately. If this occurs outside of our reception’s opening hours, please call THV-Turvapalvelut Alarm Monitoring at 02 284 6999, where you can order a paid door opening service.
Is Invoicing Possible?
For invoicing, please request an electronic agreement template from our reception at info@linnasmaki.fi or from our sales services at sales@linnasmaki.fi.
What should I Do if I Want to Cancel My Reservation?
The best way to cancel a reservation is through the same channel it was originally made. In case of uncertainty, please contact our reception so we can advise you on the cancellation process. Cancellations can generally be made free of charge by 6:00 PM on the day prior to arrival, unless otherwise agreed (group bookings).
What is a Hostel Card?
With a Hostel Card and a Hostel Association member organization card, you receive a 10% discount on all hostel prices. You can purchase a Hostel Card from the Finnish Hostel Association’s website, and it also grants you many other benefits in Finland. See current benefits.
Does Linnasmäki Have a Cafe or Restaurant?
Linnasmäki has both a cafe and a restaurant, both with alcohol serving licenses. Our restaurant serves lunch from Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (other meals by order). There is also a small cafe sales point at the reception in the evenings, and a soft drink vending machine in the hostel lobby.
Where is the Nearest ATM and Shop, and a Restaurant?
The nearest shop, Tampereentie Prisma, is located approximately one kilometer away. It also has an ATM, a pharmacy, and a Hesburger.
How Do I Find out What Events or Activities are Available in Turku?
Almost all events, attractions, and activities in Turku and nearby municipalities can be found on the VisitTurku website. Our reception staff will be happy to assist you and provide tips for day trips or help with potential ticket or restaurant reservations. You can also get current brochures and maps from our reception.
