What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-out takes place at the hostel by 10:00 a.m. and at the hotel by 12:00 p.m. A later check-out is possible for an additional fee, depending on our booking status. If necessary, please ask the situation at our reception.

Can I arrive to stay when the reception is closed?

Yes! Check-in is also possible outside of reception opening hours. However, please remember to let our reception know about this already at the booking stage.

The green arrow on the attached map shows the location of the entrance. On the right side of the red front door, there is a black device into which the five-digit code received from our reception is keyed in and you can get inside from the front door. There is a gray key cabinet on the opposite wall. You have half a minute to take an envelope with your name on it from the cupboard. If for some reason you cannot immediately find the key cabinet and it has time to lock again, start from the beginning and enter the code again into the black device next to the front door.

Please keep the room key with you. It allows you to pass through the front door of your accommodation building around the clock. Remember to also fill out the accommodation card you found in the envelope and return it to our reception at the latest when you leave. Please also take care of the payment the morning after our Reception.

Where can I park the car?

Linnasmäki has plenty of free parking space and a few chargeable (€5/day/hybrid car and €12/day/full electric car) electric car charging points. The parking lot is lit and there is camera surveillance, but the car is still the customer's own responsibility. In winter, our customers have a few sockets intended for car heating, which you can ask for more information at the reception.

What do I do if I have an early departure?

We ask that you notify our reception of an early departure in advance so that we can instruct the return of the key.

Can I leave luggage in storage?

Of course, there is storage space for your luggage. Our reception will be happy to help in this matter.

Can pets be accommodated in your rooms?

Unfortunately, our hostel and hotel do not have pet rooms. A guide dog is allowed.

Can minors stay in Linnasmäki?

We also welcome underage guests, but we still need a free verbal/written consent from the guardian in advance.

What do I do if I lose my room key?

The matter must be reported to our reception immediately. If this happens outside of our reception's opening hours, please call THV Security Services Alarm Monitoring on 02 284 6999 , where you can order a paid door opening.

Will the billing succeed?

For invoicing, please request an electronic contract form from our reception info@linnasmaki.fi or our sales services sales@linnasmaki.fi .

How do I proceed if I want to cancel my reservation?

The best way to cancel a reservation is to use the same route through which the reservation was originally made. In case of doubt, please contact our reception so that we can advise you on how to cancel. As a general rule, cancellations can be handled free of charge by 6:00 p.m. the day before the arrival date, unless otherwise agreed (group reservations).

What is a Hostel card?

With the Hostel Card and the card of the Hostel Organization's member organization, you get a 10% discount on all hostel prices. You can buy a hostel card on the website of the Finnish Hostel Association and it also gives you many other benefits in Finland. See current benefits .

Is there a cafe or restaurant in Linnasmäki?

Linnasmäki has both a cafe and a restaurant with licensing rights. Our restaurant serves lunch from Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (other meals by order). In connection with the reception, there is also a small cafe sale in the evenings and there is a soft drink vending machine in the lobby of the hostel.

Where is the nearest ATM and shop, and what about a restaurant?

The nearest shop, Tamperentien Prisma, is located about a kilometer away. There is also an ATM, a pharmacy and a Hesburger. Orikedo Taverna is 400 meters away.

How do I know what events or things to do in Turku?

Almost all events, attractions and things to do in Turku and nearby municipalities can be found VisitTuru's website. Our reception staff is happy to help and give destination tips for a day trip or help with possible ticket or restaurant reservations. You can also get current brochures and maps from our reception.
